Collections

Receive mobile money and card payments through SwApp collection channels and configured services.

Mobile money 2.5% / Card 3.5%
  • The standard mobile money collection rate is 2.5%; final charges are confirmed during payment.
  • The standard card processing rate is 3.5%.
  • No subscription, management, or setup fee for standard onboarding.

Send to Bank

Move money from a SwApp account to a Ugandan bank account.

UGX 7,000 / txn
  • Ugandan bank accounts only.
  • Only UGX currency supported.
  • Processing can take up to 24 hours.
  • Notification when money is sent out.

Utility Payments

Offer bill and service payment workflows where customer charges and revenue share apply.

Events and fundraising

Events and donation pages have their own fee treatment because they include public pages, checkout, receipts, reporting, and organizer records.

Event ticketing

Paid tickets use SwApp event fees that can be passed to the attendee or absorbed by the organizer.

  • Standard service fee: UGX 500 per paid ticket.
  • Standard processing: mobile money 2.5%; card 3.5%.
  • Account-specific rates may differ; checkout confirms the final total.
  • Free tickets and manual offline orders carry no event ticket fee.

Donation and fundraiser pages

Supporters see the payment total and any added fees before confirming a contribution.
