A standard campaign page has no setup fee. Payment charges depend on the method used; checkout shows the amount to be collected before confirmation.
- Mobile money
- The provider quotes the charge for the payment. Any fee added to the contribution is shown before confirmation.
- Card payments
- The standard card processing rate is 3.5%. The final charge and total are calculated at checkout.
Before you start your fundraiser.
How do we arrange access to collected funds?
Contact SwApp before launching to confirm organizer verification, the receiving account, withdrawal options, charges and settlement timing for your campaign. A successful contribution is a payment record; it does not mean the funds are already available in your bank or mobile money account.
Can supporters contribute in another currency?
Supporters can choose from the currencies enabled for your campaign. Card payments use the selected supported currency, while mobile money collections are processed in UGX. The contribution page shows the applicable minimum.
Can we use the page for contributions as well as donations?
Yes. Choose wording that fits your campaign, such as donations for a cause or contributions for a community activity.
